San Andros Vacation Packages

it was okay. got there at 5pm and shortly after all the outside restaurants closed, which was a bummer. we ate inside and the food took a while but its okay bc we were on island time. i did find a bone on my cheese flatbread. not sure what happened there. overall room was average. nice location downtown

The room service menu is terrible also you can’t book a restaurant reservation until your 3rd night been their so we were stuck eating buffet most days.

My wife and I stayed at Grand Hyatt in mid May. The resort is beautiful and the staff is great. Our room was large and very clean/modern and incl a small refrigerator and Keurig. We chose the cheaper king fountain view room, but the view is beautiful, esp at night when the fountain is lit up. Our package through Expedia included free flights and a room in the “Reserve” section at Grand Hyatt which is very nice and included free breakfast and happy hour buffets with free beer, wine and Champagne every night from 5:00-7:30! Breakfast included 4 hot entrees plus a big selection of breads, bagels, fruit, coffee, juice. Happy hour buffet was even nicer and included 4 hot appetizers, sushi rolls, homemade hummus, meats, cheese, breads, salads, and deserts. It was enough for a nice free dinner if you wanted to save some money. There is a free water park and multiple pools that are all beautiful but some are reserved access. We had no trouble getting lounge chairs at the pools since we were there in mid May. The restaurants are generally very nice but require advanced reservations. Our favorites were Marcus, ShuangBa and Pizza Lab. The food is expensive at the nicer restaurants but there are cheaper options avail. Our best dinners were off property at Meze Grill and Sapodilla Estate - short cab ride, great food and much less expensive. The worst part of Baha Mar is the drink prices. Plan on $20-$28/drink and $10/beer. Bring 2 liquor bottles with you for around the pool.

The entire staff is wonderful, gracious and so helpful. The location is excellent if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway, far from the large resorts. Old Fort Bay Club is beautiful, situated on a stunning beach without crowds of people. Very good food (we preferred the Italian restaurant over the Asian). Gym is very good and the pool is decently sized for those who like to swim laps. Room and bathroom are clean and spacious. The only thing missing is mini fridge.

Really helpful staff. Great free coffee. Little water in room. Great A/C and comfy bed. Big minus was pool being out of action, not told and we planned on using that for a day. Also quite far from town center but handy for airport.
